March Madness

Coming off of an amazing Aggressive Christianity Conference and week of instruction from Captains Stephen Court and Danielle Strickland, Revolution Hawaii has the throttle open and we are heading full bore into a crazy, busy March. Dee and I take off today for the Golden State Youth Councils at Redwood Glen. We are really looking forward to another action packed, spirit filled weekend with Majors Vasquez and their crew.

We arrive back in Hawaii just in time to meet our next visiting instructor to Revolution Hawaii. Jim Sparks is the Youth Development and Leadership Director for the Western Territory of The Salvation Army. He also is very involved with the youth at his home Corps, Pasadena Tabernacle. In preparation for his week long visit he had us read "ChurchMarketing 101" by Richard L Reising which I would highly recommend. His teaching style is cutting edge and he has some extreme teaching planned for our team so you will want to check back next week to get the low down.

Jim's visit leads right into Hawaii's Youth Councils at Camp Homelani. This should be another exciting weekend with special guest "The Skitiots" and local reggae band "Seven Simple Pieces". Revolution Hawaii will be helping throughout the weekend as counselors, leading Bible studies and workshops, and participating in the meetings. Good Times!
Our good friend Fulton Hawk, The Western Territories Youth Media Specialist, will also be a guest at youth councils and then he will spend the rest of the week teaching at Revolution Hawaii. He has the team reading "True Faced" by Bill Thrall, Bruce McNicol and John Lynch. This is another top notch book that every believer should read.

Our much anticipated I'LL FIGHT FEST featuring Michael Collins from Cariboo Hill, B.C. kicks off on Saturday the 17th. This will be an event you don't want to miss. We are going to set up tents on Ma'ili Beach (old time revival style), and MC is going to put on a clinic throughout the weekend, ending with a blow out at The Upper Room Sunday night. The fun continues for Revolution Hawaii as Michael is staying on for the rest of the week as a visiting instructor.

That weekend Lindsey and I take off for the Southern California Youth Councils with Captains Stennet and the last weekend it's Juan, Nancy and I to the combined InterMountain - Southwest Division Youth Councils while the rest of the team attends the Hawaiian Islands Ministry conference.

Whew!
God is Good
